Billboard is claiming Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter III becomes the first CD since 50’s The Massacre in 2005 to sell more than 1 million copies in a single week, according to chart reports that will be issued tomorrow morning (June 18) by Nielsen SoundScan.
Prior to Weezy’s opus Kanye West’s Graduation had the biggest 1 week showing of 957,000 copies last year after debuting on Sept. 11th. Via Billboard.com
