HipHopSince1987.com can confirm with various unofficial sources inside Activision that despite weak sales, the DJ Hero brand will continue to roll out a “DJ Hero 2″ game. No time table has been set for the release but the production company Freestyle Games has already started development on the second game version and is looking for new talent including the ideal signing of DJ Qbert to the DJ Hero franchise.
While the second game will roll out, Activision will continue to sell its current DJ Hero controller console and will not be releasing a newer version. Let’s hope the second game can generate some stronger sales for this struggling franchise.
