Playing the Right Cards: Fitzgerald signed til 2018 via (@eldorado2452)

To say good things come to those who wait could be a understatement. Three months ago it was uncertain if there would be a 2011 NFL season and within the last 30 days Arizona pro bowl wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald has scored to big touchdowns. These moves weren’t on the field, these receptions came from the sky.

The Cards have locked down a new franchise QB with Kevin Kolb to lead the Cardinals into the future and now they have also signed arguably the best wide out in the league to a 8 year $120 million deal. Whoa! Fitzgerald will also make franchise history with a guarantee of $47 million.

In a division that may be the weakest in the NFL, the NFC west, this could be a huge checkmate to the three division opponents, the Seahawks,Rams and 49ers who all have questionable offensive schemes leading into the season. Whatever it is one thing is for sure. Number eleven’s account matches his talent, money in the bank.
