The Seattle Seahawks have agreed to a two year $8 million dollar deal with former Minnesota QB Tarvaris Jackson. Seattle will not re-sign free-agent QB Matt Hasselbeck who spend his last 12 seasons in Seattle and will turn 36 at the start of the season.
Seattle’s signing of Jackson reunites him with offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell. The Seahawks also current have QB Charlie Whitehurst signed to a two year $8 million deal. Seattle is also considering bring in former USC quarterback Matt Leinart which would reunite Leinart with Head Coach Pete Carroll his college coach at USC. All three would compete for the starting job.
