eli 2-1 New York G-Men Trash Panthers; Headed For A Showdown With Eagles Week 4 All the so called experts including myself just knew after a strong win against the New Orleans Saints Week 2 that the Carolina Panthers would make a bold statement hosting the Super Bowl Champion New York Giants. They may have made a statement but not a positive one.

From the opening seconds of tonight’s game the New York Giants absolutely controlled the tempo and style of the game. Limping into Charlotte with injuries to over  five starters, four on offensive alone the Giants reserves proved the Giants are for real and that we certainly can’t spell Elite without Eli.

Giants Back up running back Andre Brown had a career night rushing for two touchdowns and 113 yards and teammates wide out Ramses Barden hauled in nine catches for 138 yards. Manning was 27-35 for 288 without a single turnover and one opening drive touchdown pass as the Giants beat the Panthers 36-7.

The Panthers struggled all night long as Cam and the offense could never get in sink and the Panthers defensive couldn’t stop Eli all game long. The Panthers are now 1-2 heading into a week 4 matchup the Atlanta Falcons and the New York Giants are headed to the city of brotherly love to face-off against Michael Vick and Philadelphia Eagles.
