Lakers Hire Eddie Jordan To Mike Brown's Crew

The Los Angeles Lakers have hired former Kings,Sixers and Wizards head coach Eddie Jordan to join Mike Brown’s coaching staff as his assistant coach.

Jordan who has had a shaky coaching career to say the least my be on his last leg as he trys to rebuild his coaching legacy.

As a coach for the Sacramento Kings, Washington Wizards and Philadelphia 76ers Jordan has a 257-343 career record.The Wizards fired Jordan after a 1-10 start in 2008, and the 76ers fired him after a 27-55 record in 2009-2010, his only season with the team.

Jordan will replace Quin Snyder on Brown’s staff. Snyder left the Lakers after one season to become an assistant coach for CSKA Moscow under head coach Ettore Messina, who was a consultant with the Lakers last season.

Jordan spent last season as the freshman coach at Archbishop Carroll in Washington, D.C., where he went to high school.
