Tyler Kelly, goes by Ty Kelly, is the third basemen for the Frederick Keys. Located in Western Maryland, the team isn’t particularly turning heads. Even though the Keys have the worst record in the Carolina League (27-37), they aren’t a bad team they are just down on their luck. With Ty Kelly batting for them, they are taking a new type of energy into the second half of the Minor League season. The Baltimore Orioles drafted Kelly, 23, in 2009. While making the adjustments from college to Minors, Kelly has his heart and his talent set on the Majors. Sports Cipher caught up with Ty Kelly. Here’s what he had to say:
