It seems to me Big Boi is aiming to rekindle the spark Outkast left in the game with their last album The Love Below/Speakerboxx. Big Boi tweeted earlier in the week that he would be adding his vocals over “Pink Matter”, a Frank Ocean track off Frank’s last album “Channel Orange” that features Big Boi’s partner Andre 3000. The song originally was suppose to feature the group Outkast but at the time Andre 3000 didn’t want to have the two dope boys in a caddy reunite on another artists’ album.
Big Boi has also announced that he will be featured on the remix to “Sorry” a track off T.I’s latest album “Trouble Man” which also features Andre 3000 who seems to be talking to Big Boi over that instrumental. The two Atlanta rap legends haven’t announced a reunion album yet but could this be the beginning of something special? Only time will tell.
