NBA former number one overall pick Elton Brand has signed a one year deal with the Atlanta Hawks. The exact amount Brand has signed for is still unknown but the Hawks hope his ability to play both center and power forward will help their rotations greatly this season. The 14 year vet is a two time NBA all-star who has averaged 17 points and 9 rebounds in his career. Last season with the Dallas Mavericks, Brand averaged 7.2 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 21 minutes per game. Stay tuned to HHS1987 for more on the 2013 NBA Free Agency period.
