This is what Atlanta Falcons fans and some Atlanta Falcons players have been waiting for. A Chance for a trip to New Orleans to play in the Super Bowl. Today the Atlanta Falcons will defend their home turf as the San Francisco 49ers look to come to Atlanta’s Georgia Dome and earn a trip to the big dance in the Mercedes Benz SuperDome.
The Falcons have been saying all season that they are not getting the respect they deserve especially for a team that won 13 games. One way to prove that is by playing big and beating the 49ers today.
Sadly Atlanta fans I think the buck stops here. I think the 49ers offensive weapons will be too much for Atlanta’s defense and the 49ers still remember losing the NFC Championship game last year to Eli Manning and the New York Giants. The Falcons have had a great run but I think the 49ers have more talent and are a better coached team.
