The New York Jets and Tampa Bay Buccaneers have agreed to a deal that will send possibly the best defensive back the NFL (Darrelle Revis) has seen since Deion Sanders to the Bucs and make him one of the highest paid defensive players in the NFL. Revis is searching for a deal somewhere between $15- $16 million a year.
Revis is currently in Tampa Bay and pending the results of his physical a deal will be announced tonight or tomorrow morning. Revis was entering the final year of his contract with the Jets and was due to make $6 million next season. $3 million in bonuses and $3 million in base salary.
