So Dope Talks SXSW being Groundbreaking for Indie Artist, New Jersey’s Rap Scene & More (Video)

Recently in Austin,TX during SXSW, HHS1987 caught up with New Jersey hip-hop artist So Dope to discuss an array of things. So Dope spoke on the importance of SXSW and how it is groundbreaking for indie artist, how New Jersey rappers are being overlooked and he spoke on his project upcoming ” King Dope”.

So Dope also spoke on being true to his sound and his craft versus pleasing the fans and the mainstream audience. When asked what we can expect from his upcoming project “King Dope”, So Dope replied ” I’ve been fighting with myself rather to put out the music I like versus what is marketable”. Before closing out the interview So Dope spoke on what we can expect from him for the remainder of 2014.
