Chief Keef’s cousin, Mario Hess, known as Blood Money or Big Glo of Glory Boyz Entertainment, was slained last night in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago. Big Glo was shot at least ten times and was pronounced dead at John H. Stroger Hospital in Cook County.
At least 24 shell casing were found on Elizabeth Avenue. The 33 year old rapper, who recently appeared on his second cousin’s record, Fuck Rehab, had been shot by two unidentified shooters.
Glo’s manager, Renaldo Reuben Hess, released a statement to the Chicago Tribune saying the following:
“It’s a lot of crime and violence in Chicago, these rap guys are being targeted, so you know, just trying to get him outside the neighborhood. He’s from the streets,” Renaldo Reuben Hess said early Thursday morning.
“He was basically trying to just get his rap career together because that’s a good opportunity,” he said. “They gave him some money up front. It was a good chance for him to get himself out the hood.”
