The BEYOND THE LIGHTS red carpet advance screening took place here in Atlanta at the Regal Atlantic Station on Tuesday, October 14th at 7:30 PM. Talent in attendance from the film included, director and writer Gina Prince-Bythewood (Love & Basketball and The Secret Life of Bees) and the male lead Nate Parker (Red Tails and The Great Debaters). Celebrities and influencers in attendance included the wonderful host of the evening Gary with Da Tea from The Rickey Smiley Morning Show on WHTA-FM, Bravo’s Real Housewives of Atlanta’s newest member and co-host of The Rickey Smiley Morning Show on WHTA-FM Claudia Jordan, WNBA wife Bo Talley, Actress Keshia Knight-Pulliam, R&B singer $hang, NEXT’s RL, BET’s Sunday Best Season 2 winner Yanna Crawley and Atlantic Records Marking Director Cannon Kent.
