Things have been out of hand recently and they only seem to be getting worst. Last night in Berkeley, Missouri, a town just two miles outside of ferguson, a 18 year old young man named Antonio Martin was shot and killed by a Berkeley police officer. The officer claims he shot Martin because “he feared for his life” after Martin supposedly pointed a gun at the officer. Toni Martin, the mother of Antonio Martin however has informed reporters that her son did not have a gun and that he was headed to see his girlfriend when he was shot at the gas station.
According to the St. Louis police, the officer had a body camera but it wasn’t on during the shooting. Watch Toni Martin discuss the shooting of her son below and stay tuned to HHS1987 as details are still forming.
