Arby’s says it purchased Pharrell’s Vivienne Westwood-designed hat, which the producer wore at the 2014 Grammys, for $44,100 in an eBay auction, according to a Twitter post made by the company.
“Thank you to whoever bought my Grammy hat on @eBay for $44,100. Your donation benefits From One Hand To AnOTHER,” Pharrell said in a Twitter post yesterday (March 2).
Arby’s responded to the Twitter post.
“You’re welcome. We’re HAPPY to support a great cause & get our hat back. Good luck at the #Oscars tonight,” Arby’s said.
