Tupac’s mother, Afeni Shakur founded the “Tupac Amaru Shakur’ Foundation back in 1997, a year after the legendary rapper was murdered with a firm mission to “provide training and support for students seeking to enhance their creative talents”. The foundation is currently planning to release a new 2Pac single with the assistance of many heavy hitting hip-hop stars. All proceeds for the record will go back into the foundation for upkeep of the Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the arts in Stone Mountain, GA. The single will be sold exclusively on 2Pac.com for $0.99.

Once downloaded, Pac fans will also receive a new mixtape featuring numerous guest rappers. The work is being produced by Kamil “Muszamil” Beale and Dame Grease, but will have other producers appear on the project as well.

Anyone interested in contributing to the project can contact Muszamil (@OutlawMuszamil) and Vacant Lot A&R Jason Mantez (@mantez) via Twitter.
