Today, Two-9, has announced a record deal with multi-platinum producer Mike WiLL Made-It‘s Eardruma Records/Interscope Records.

Founded in 2009, and comprised of members Curtis Williams, Retro Sushi (Jace & Ceej), andFatKidsBrotha (Lightskin Mac 11 & Dav.E), Two-9 has built one of the most powerful, young, independent movements in rap, collaborating with the likes of Wiz Khalifa, Chance The Rapper, and Juicy J; co-headlining tours with Worlds Fair; and ultimately catching the ear of super producer Mike WiLL Made-It, who first collaborated with the group with the 2012 leak “Where The Money At?” and again with the group’s latest single“Everything,” before ultimately inking them to his recently announced venture through Interscope Records.

“There hasn’t been a collective of creative coming out of Atlanta like Two-9 since Outkast,” says Mike WiLL about what motivated the signing. “They have great energy, make dope music, and they’re always trying to push things forward, not box themselves in. I respect their art, their grind, and their whole movement, and I’m excited to help them take their brand to the next level.”

Likewise, Two-9 is excited to be one of the first acts signed to Eardruma Records and equally excited to have the support of one of the most powerful labels in rap history, Interscope Records, in their corner. “I’m really excited to start the next stage in this video game called Two-9,” says Curtis Williams, as Jace echoes his sentiments, saying, “We’d been entertaining offers from other labels, but it didn’t feel right until now. We have a personal relationship with Mike WiLL already, and Eardruma, along with Interscope feels like the perfect place for us to take the next step in our career.”

Last week, Two-9 also celebrated the release of their new merch collection, available now exclusively online via Hypebeast and sold locally at popular Atlanta boutique Wish ATL. This latest line comes following strong support on their previous line from the likes of Miley Cyrus, Future, Wiz Khalifa, B.o.B., and more.

With this new partnership in place, Two-9 has plans to begin working on an official album, to be executive produced by Mike WiLL Made-It. Fans can expect plenty of new music and exciting content in the coming days, weeks, and months. Check out the signing above.
