In just her second year in the league, WNBA All-Star Brittney Griner has become a dominate force. Coming off a season where Brittney averaged 15.6 points, 8.0 rebounds and 3.8 blocks, Brittney Griner has been named the 2014 WNBA defensive player of the year. Griner helped led her team the Phoenix Mercury to the best record in WNBA history to date breaking the WNBA’s single-season shot block record with 129 blocks. Brittney and her Phoenix Mercury teammates face the Los Angeles Sparks today at 6pm on ESPN 2
