Talk about a huge blow to your team. Cleveland Browns Pro Bowl wide receiver Josh Gordon has been suspended for the entire 2014 NFL season for repeated drug abuse. Josh Gordon is arguably one of the best wide receivers in the NFL and his lost could cost the Cleveland Browns in many ways this season. Gordon was suspended for two games during the 2013 NFL season yet he still managed to lead the NFL in receiving yards.

After learning of his year long suspension, Josh Gordan had this to say: “I’d like to apologize to my teammates, coaches, the Cleveland Browns organization and our fans,” Gordon said in the statement. “I am very disappointed that the NFL and its hearing office didn’t exercise better discretion and judgment in my case. I would like to sincerely thank the people who have been incredibly supportive of me during this challenging time, including my family, my agent, my union, my legal team, and the Cleveland Browns staff.”
