Although the Chicago Bulls are down (0-1) against the Washington Wizards in the first round of the NBA playoffs but they still have something to smile about. After just finishing possibly his best regular season in the NBA, Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah has been named the 2013-14 NBA Defensive Player of the year.

Noah finished the season averaging 12 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assist, 1 block and 1 steal for the Derrick Rose-less Bulls this season and he recorded 4 triple doubles for the Bulls this season.
