Nowitzki is Back: Dirk Agrees to a 3 Year $30 Million deal to stay with Dallas

Dallas Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki and the Dallas Mavericks have agreed to terms to keep Dirk in a Mavs uniform for the next three years. Dirk and the Mavs have agreed to a three year deal worth $30 million dollars, locking up their big man for the next three years.

According to ESPN, Dirk’s new deal contains a player option that would allow Nowitzki to return to free agency in the summer of 2016 and preserves the rare no-trade clause he had in his last contract. Dirk and his Mavs are on to looking for a few pieces to add to their roster to make another championship run. Carmelo Anthony, Luol Deng and Chandler Parsons are next on Mark Cuban’s list.
