Brandy has made her move to New York City to star in the Broadway play “Chicago,” and tries to test her singing skills on the train. She belts out a rendition of Diana Ross’ “Home,” and then afterwards looks for a response from the packed train car to no avail. It’s a pretty funny moment, but more of an introduction to the NYC lifestyle. People see talented and talent-less performers daily on the subway and they are not easy impressed. Just to show how much she has to learn about the city, she even attempts to make a phone call after the embarrassing event.
