“Sandy Speaks” is Goldin’s tribute to the life and legacy of Sandra Bland, a young black woman who died in police custody this summer and took social media by storm with the hashtag #SandySpeaks. The Richmond,VA emcee felt compelled to deliver his message the best way he knows, through song, as he unleashes his emotions in front of the camera. Police brutality amongst African-American’s is a major issue in today’s society and Hip-Hop has always been at the forefront when addressing social issues.
