As has been tradition for JSWISS for several years now, Swiss pays tribute to the late producer James Yancey a.k.a J Dilla by rapping over one of his many prolific instrumentals.
“Give It Up” originally appeared on J Dilla’s Welcome 2 Detroit album and featured Jay Dee himself rhyming on it as well. Dilla would have been 41 years old today had he not passed in 2006 after a battle with lupus.
