It almost seems as if Rihanna is re-branding herself, doesn’t it? We’ve seen a dark side of her before, but this “darkness” she’s now introducing to us is of a different caliber. Her most recent vocal offering on the Kanye West x Paul McCartney assisted FourFiveSeconds was her presentation of this new persona. Today, she unveils another record to the masses which will be featured on the soundtrack to the upcoming film, Home. Towards The Sun is the debut to the soundtrack that is actually a full body concept album by Rihanna; this record will accompany 11 others. Not only is she the brains behind the soundtrack, but she also lent her voice for the main character of the film, Tip.
The soundtrack is set for release March 17th. The Navy awaits an album release from RiRi, but we can only imagine what to expect from the Kanye West executive produced project after hearing what she had to offer in FourFiveSeconds. The element of surprise.
