According to Complex, Ackquille Pollard, otherwise known as his stage name Bobby Shmurda, has posted bond with the help of his “secured celebrity bail bondsman Ira Judelson, who said he’ll put up Shmurda’s $2 million bail as early as next week.”

As the hearing yesterday, Pollard pleaded not guilty to the charges that were brought against him. GS9 member, Rowdy Rebel, also pleaded not guilty to the following charges: conspiracy, attempted murder, attempted assault, and criminal possession of a weapon.

Complex reached out to Shmurda’s new attorney, Kenneth J. Montgomery, who confirmed the rumors saying bail was posted. However, the government will need to investigate the funds to be sure they are from a legitimate source before he can be released.

“A 72 hour surety is attached and the package has to be examined by the Government,” Montgomery told Complex. “If approved he is released. If not a hearing would be scheduled to litigate any issues.”

If all is well, Bobby Shmurda could be out as early as next week.

This comes after being arrested this past August by NYPD at Quad Studios in Manhattan as a result of a long-term narcotics investigation against his crew, GS9. Shmurda’s co-defendants: Brian “Meeshie” Harvey, Rashid “Rasha” Derissant, Deshain “Mitch” Cockett, and Alex “A-Rod” Crandon, have pleaded ‘not guilty’ in the charges brought against them but unfortunately, Rasha and A-Rod were denied bail.

After yesterday’s hearing, Pollard and his co-defendants have been brought up on 32 new charges, totaling the list to 101 against all of the parties involved. XXL reports that due to the additional charges, three individuals—Binish Mahmoud, Aja Davis and Michael Legall—were added to the indictment.

A court hearing has been set for April 22nd.
