As if his rant the other day about Life+Times wasn’t enough, Funkmaster Flex decided to rant about Jay Z again tonight. Last night, Flex shared a text on Instagram that he received at some point yesterday that read “This is HOV.” The DJ explained that the text came after numerous calls from a private number and he promised to speak more on the issue today on Hot 97 and he certainly delivered.
Flex took to the air tonight to continue expressing his issues with his long-time friend. “You are a commercial corporate rapper that drops a nice line once every 3 months on a remix,” rants Flex adding, “I wear the crown, I don’t wear the crown every 3 months with a subliminal verse and jump out.” It will be interesting to see what happens next in this situation.
