When we found out Jay-Z was introducing his newly acquired subscription based music streaming service, the music industry was turned upside down. The impression was that the app would be the future, with it’s promise to pay artists more and competing with Spotify and Beats Music. The service has also offered exclusive content such as the premiere’s of the video for Hov’s “Glory”, and RiRi’s “American Oxygen.”  We even got the announcement of Jay & Beyoncé’s long joint album would also be an exclusive given only to TIDAL subscribers. Since the announcement of it’s launch, the service has been riddled with scrutiny and controversy surrounding it’s former CEO Andy Chen, reportedly forced out and replaced by Peter Tonstad. Most recently, a report came out that from Page Six reports that the app fell “out of the iPhone top 700 apps.”

However, the forever positive Hov insists that TIDAL is doing just fine, as he used Twitter as a platform to reassure his fan:

If you have the app and want to leave your two cents on your experience with it thus far, leave us a comment below!
