Over the 4-day weekend, an announcement of A$AP Yams’ death was posted on A$AP Mob’s official Facebook page.
The news rippled through the Hip Hop world in no time and many mourned the young rapper’s death on social media. He was only 26 years old.
We bugged out on New Years, I didn’t know that would be the last time seeing my brother
– said A$AP Ferg. Even the mob’s record company, RCA Records, was shocked to learn of his passing.
Cause of death is still unknown.
California MC, Joey Fatts, expressed his condolences in an audio tribute titled “Stevie World,” which was released earlier today – already garnering over 4,800 plays on SoundCloud.
