As if the game wasn’t GOOD enough, Katy Perry surprised everyone by bringing out Missy Elliot. Known for her creativity, undeniable energy and her contribution to the culture, Missy Elliot performed some of her greatest hits during Sunday’s Super Bowl Halftime Show.
Having been on hiatus for quite some time, Missy’s half-time performance resulted in THREE top ten singles on iTunes in just a little over 24 hours after her appearance.

What’s even more surprising is how the younger generation have not a clue as to who this Missy Elliot is. As for the rest of us who grew up in the 90s and witnessed firsthand what she’s capable of as an artist, we’re just happy to see her back.
