The-Dream visited Power 105’s The Breakfast Club to talk about an array of topics. First he talks about wanting to leave Def Jam for Capitol Records. He mentions that when he writes for Def Jam artists these days, there will no longer be a label discount. The-Dream talks about writing for publishing, and he would prefer writing several songs on a persons album.

Charlamagne Tha God throws his shade at The-Dream when mentions his poor album sales over at Def Jam, getting married again, and giving publishing to his babymother Christina Milian even though it doesn’t reduce his child support payments. Charlamagne hints at Christina being garbage, and asks The-Dream do he encourages her musically. The crew asks The-Dream do he watch Fox’s new show, Empire. He replied he only watched one episode of it. Charlamagne mentions that The-Dream reminds him of Lucious Lyon character played by Terrance Howard.

He will be releasing a new album, titled Crown, well actually a two part EP releasing on March 31st and June 9th.
