This past Saturday, Abel Tesfaye, known by his stage name, The Weeknd, was arrested for allegedly punching a police officer out in Las Vegas. According to TMZ, the Toronto singer-songwriter was involved in a brawl that took place at the Cromwell Hotel around 4:20 AM. When local authorities arrived, the brawl was still going on, forcing them to break it up; and when one of the officers pulled The Weeknd into the elevator to get out of the madness, that’s when the self-acclaimed King Of Fall, assaulted the officer by punching him in the head. Tesfaye was then arrested for battery of a protected person. However, he was bailed out, and took to Instagram a picture of himself boarding a private jet with the caption, “escaped from Las Vegas.”
