Atlanta Hawks fans have several reasons to be glad today. Not only do the Atlanta Hawks currently have the best record in the Eastern Conference, today their head coach Mike Budenholzer has been named the Eastern Conference coach of the month for the month of December. The Hawks posted a record of (14-2) in December beating the Bulls, Clippers, Nets, Cavs, Heat, Mavericks and Rockets. The Hawks also posted franchise records recording 14 wins in a month and recording their highest winning percentage in a month a .742.
