The first episode of season 2 on “Being Mary Jane” aired last week & we’re all tuned in, including miss. Angie Martinez. Ang had Gabrielle Union stop by the show for the first time since being at Power 105.1 to discuss everything the new Mrs. Wade has going on.
Obviously the first topic of discussion was her successful BET series & the impact it’s creating for television as a whole. They also touched on how other black actresses such as Viola Davis & Keri Washington are paralleling her success with their shows as well & creating a new avenue for “color blindness” with these popular tv shows.
She also let us into her little secret of being a “Insta-stalker” as she closely keeps up with IG posts made by Blac Chyna & Amber Rose. The public backlash that comes along with following these celebrity beauties is the reason she wont allow herself to do so. Her husband, Dwayne Wade had to learn that the hard way.
Oh, & don’t speak on her man. She rides hard for hers, just ask Charles Barkley.
