Last weekend Drake was in the building for Smack/URL’s NOME 5. While on stage Drake addressed when he would battle Murda Mook, who was on hand and challenged Drake on the spot. Drake responded saying the Mook had to beat Tsu Surf before he would battle him. Surf, who battled and arguably beat Tay Rock during all three round of their NOME battle, spoke to ItsBizkit about Drake’s comments, battle rap, his upcoming project, and more. The NJ native announced that his forthcoming project Newark is “fully almost finished” and should be released in “the next 4-6 weeks.” Styles P joined Surf on “Keep Praying” and Joe Budden will also be on the project.
