With last week’s premiere of the song, Will Brennan originally told Fader that “Interest” is a song about the spark that happens when you meet someone that you actually enjoy sharing conversation and silence with. Today, he promptly accompanies the single with proper visual treatment by providing stunning, smoky optics directed by The Brave Cat for 1 of 1 LTD.
When they set out to create this video, Will explains, “We wanted to create a scene that would be the ideal place where our music would be heard and we thought that a group of girls hotboxing their car would be a fitting visual to this song. We didn’t see the sinister turn at the end coming until it happened.” Black Americana is coming soon.
