Basketball fans are in for a good WNBA matchup this afternoon. The 2015 WNBA season is well underway and today two of the WNBA’s best face off in what is a important game for both teams.
Today here in Atlanta, Angel McCoughtry and the Atlanta Dream face Tina Charles and the New York Liberty. The Liberty have gotten off to a great start to begin the 2015 WNBA season with a record of (7-4) and they will look to expend their four game winning streak to five today. Not if McCoughtry has anything to do with it. In their matchups this season, McCoughtry is averaging 25 points against the Liberty and a big effort from McCoughtry this afternoon will be needed if the Dream want to win.
After being the first seed in the 2014 WNBA Eastern conference playoffs, the Dream sit at (5-7) currently and they are looking to get off on the right track today before heading on a long west coast road trip. The Atlanta Dream and New York Liberty tip off today at 3pm live from Philips Arena.
