Hot 97’s Best of BK w/ Jack Daniels Event Recap

Last week, Hot 97 repped for the borough of Brooklyn as they hosted the Neighborhood Flavor: Best of Brooklyn party with Jack Daniel’s Honey. Held in Brooklyn’s, The Villain, the event was one big showcase of Brooklyn pride. Before the performances took place, the evening kicked off with free food, a Jack Daniel’s tasting, a live fashion display from local brands, and tons of mingling from locals and industry folks, alike.

Hitting the stage, later in the evening, were Torae, Jadon Woodard, Nitty Scott MC, Joell Ortiz and Talib Kweli. Many Brooklynites, such as Brooklyn Hip Hop Fest’s, Wes Jackson, were also given awards for their contribution to the “livest” borough in NYC.
