In case you missed it, Olmpic gymnast Gabby Douglas is continuing to make history but this time it’s off the mat! As she prepares her quest to win the Gold medal in Rio this Summer, U.S. gymnast Gabby Douglas has received her own Barbie doll.
Continuing to inspire girls to be anything, Barbie honors Gabby Douglas by unveiling a one-of-a-kind doll in her likeness. Douglas was just named to the USA Olympic Gymnastics team for the second time, is the first woman of color of any nationality and the first African-American gymnast in Olympic history to become the Individual All-Around Champion. She has been a role model to girls throughout her career.
