The Philadelphia Sixers now stand at (4-12) after losing to Jimmy Butler, Dwyane Wade and the Chicago Bulls (105-89). The Sixers were short handed in their matchup against the Bulls as Sixers rookie Joel Embiid sat out after playing in Wednesday’s matchup against the Bulls. Following Friday night’s matchup, we caught up with some of the players on both teams for post game interviews.

 

For the Chicago Bulls, Bulls head coach Fred Hoiberg spoke on the Bulls defeating the Sixers, and the effect he is seeing from his guys night in and night out. Future Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade was in Philadelphia for the first time in a Chicago Bulls uniform on Friday night. Wade showcased his scoring talent dropping 26 points on (11-18) shooting in nearly 29 minutes of action. Following the game, Dwyane Wade spoke on the Sixers young talent, their recent road trip and how the Bulls are beginning to gel. Bulls all-star Jimmy Butler also scored 26 points for the Bulls in 30 minutes of action. Butler spoke after the game on Dwyane Wade’s impact with the Bulls and the Bulls upcoming home stretch.

For the Sixers, following the game, Nik Stauskas spoke with the media on the Sixers performance and what they need to do to get back on the winning side on things. Stauskas finished Friday night’s matchup with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assist. Sixers point Jerryd Bayless also spoke with the media following Friday night’s lost. Jerryd Bayless was inserted in the Sixers starting lineup against the Bulls. Bayless scored 11 points with 2 assist in 25 minutes of action. Bayless spoke on facing Dwyane Wade and the Bulls, his command of the team as a starter and facing the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday night.

The Bulls led the entire game after a (23-19) first quarter lead and their largest lead of the game was by 28 points. The Philadelphia Sixers are back in action on Sunday afternoon when LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers come to town at at the Wells Fargo Center. The Cavs vs. Sixers matchup will tipoff at 1pm.
