On November 23rd, the Atlanta Hawks hosted their first in-game concert of the 2016-17 NBA season at Philips Arena as the Hawks faced the New Orleans Pelicans with a halftime performance by chart-topping, Atlanta-based hip-hop star Gucci Mane.
Gucci Mane recently announced a December 16th release for his third album of 2016, “Return of East Atlanta Santa.” Known as “Guwop” by his fans, Gucci Mane secured his first No. 1 album on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop chart with August’s “Everybody Looking” following by the release of his most recent project ‘Woptober’.
During halftime of the Pelicans vs. Hawks game last night, Gucci Mane hit center court to perform his hits “First Day Out Da Feds”, “Freaky Girl”, “I Think I Love Her” and Rae Sremmurd’s hit record “Black Beatles”. HHS1987’s Terrell Thomas (Eldorado) and Danny Digitall were courtside to capture the entire experience.
The performance was shot by Danny Digitall. Follow @eldorado2452 on Twitter and Instagram for all your Atlanta Hawks, NBA and sports news.
