Cs-fqJ7XYAAOBZu-500x500 TNF: Houston Texans vs. New England Patriots (Week 3 Predictions)

Week 3 of the 2016 NFL season kicks off tonight with the (2-0) Houston Texans heading to New England to face the (2-0) New England Patriots.

Patriots starting QB Tom Brady is still on servicing a 4 game suspension and with Patriots backup QB Jimmy G out with a shoulder injury, rookie QB Jacoby Brissett will start tonight for the Pats. Brissett could have a tough time tonight going up against a tough Houston Texans defense, but the season debut of Rob Gronkowski could help him in the short yardage game.

The Houston Texans have looked good on the offensive and defensive sides of the ball and tonight will be a test to see just how good they really are. I look for the Texans offense to play big tonight in the air and account for 3 touchdowns. Texans running back Lamar Miller will account for a touchdown as well and a total of 90 rushing yards.

Look for the Patriots offense to rely on the running game a lot tonight. LaGarrett Blount will rush for over 120 yards with two touchdowns. Jacoby Brissett will play a strong game but the Texans defense will be too much. Brissett will account for two turnovers and J.J Watt will account for 3 sacks tonight on TNF.

Texans 31  Patriots 21
