Yes, you read that right. The New York Knicks have their new head man in the big apple but I can honestly say I didn’t see this one coming!
Phil Jackson and the New York Knicks will hired former NBA player and former Phoenix Suns Jeff Hornacek as their new head coach once the contract details are agreed upon. Jeff Hornacek has reached success as a head coach leading the Phoenix Suns to a (48-34) in his rookie coaching debut. Hornacek however was (101-112) overall in his 2.5 seasons with the Suns.
I personally believe Mark Jackson was a better choice for the Knicks on and off the court but Phil Jackson believes otherwise. Now we’ll wait and see if Carmelo Anthony will be in a Knicks uniform to be coached by Hornacek during the 2016-17 season.
