Dirk Nowitzki will likely retire in a Dallas Mavericks uniform. Earlier today, the Dallas Mavs and their team MVP Dirk Nowitzki have agreed to a two year $40 million dollar deal keeping Dirk in a Mevericks jersey for the next two NBA seasons. Dirk is currently 38 years old and this new deal will take him to his 40th birthday.
