The Hip-Hop community mourns today, as one of our most prolific wordsmiths has fallen too soon. Prodigy of Mobb Deep has died at age 42 after being found unconscious this morning. According to XXL, Prodigy was suffering through a health crisis for a couple of days, but we are not sure if it’s connected to his already ongoing battle with with sickle cell.
We are saddened to deliver this news and send condolences out to Prodigy’s friends and family.
