NFC-500x279 Detroit Lions vs. Seattle Seahawks (NFC Wild Card Weekend) (Predictions)

Tonight in Seattle, the second game of the 2017 NFL Wild Card weekend kicks off as the (10-5-1) Seattle Seahawks host the (9-7) Detroit Lions.

The Seattle Seahawks were my preseason pick to win the Super Bowl so if that is to hold true, the Seahawks must first win tonight. Tonight, look for Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson to come out clicking on all cylinders. Wilson will pass for over 300 yards and rush for over 80 yards against the Lions defense. Seahawks tight end Jimmy Graham will be big tonight scoring two touchdowns. Seattle’s defense will be dominate forcing two turnovers and hold the Lions offense to under 20 points on the night.

For the Lions, I expect them to compete and keep the game close. Lions quarterback Matt Stafford will pass for over 250 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Lions lack of a rushing game will be the difference in the game and will be the reason the Lions do not advance. The Lions will rush for a total of 85 yards and a late interception from Matt Stafford will send the Lions home. Stay tuned to HHS1987.
