As you know, Jay Z’s thirteenth solo studio album, “4:44” started off as a TIDAL x Sprint exclusive. But not to exclude fans who prefer other streaming services, Jay opened it up to Amazon Music, and Apple Music. Still left out, however, was Spotify. And according to Billboard, the decision to leave 4:44 off of Spotify, Jay Z could be losing out on $1,000,000 USD – per week! Take into consideration that Spotify IS the largest streaming outlet in the world.
With word getting out, one industry expert stated that this is an exaggeration. And that Hov’s pay would be closer to $250,00 USD per week. Not a millie.
Either way, it looks as though Jay isn’t going to give in to his biggest competitor any time soon.
