Tonight at Lambeau Field, Week 4 of the 2017 NFL Season kicks off with a NFC North matchup. The (1-2) Chicago Bears head to Wisconsin to take on Aaron Rodgers and the (2-1) Green Bay Packers.
Aaron Rodgers comes into the game as the only quarterback in the NFL this season to toss for over 300 yards and each of his three matchup. Rodgers has passed for over 960 yards with 6 touchdown passes in the early part of the season. Injuries have hurt this team already and they seem to be unbalanced in their offense. Without a strong running game, defenses know Aaron Rodgers must have a big night to beat them, he hasn’t had many yet this season. With Packers offensive lineman Bryan Bulaga and David Bakhtiari doubtful tonight, Rodgers will have to stay mobile and make plays happen with his feet.
The Chicago Bears have been impressive in each of their games this year coming off of a big Week 3 victory against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Bears are a fairly young team and their young players have stepped up. Rookie Tarik Cohen leads the Bears in receiving with 20 receptions for 126 yards and a touchdown. Rushing the ball, Cohen is averaging 6.5 yards per carry. Mike Glennon has been productive throwing three touchdown passes on the year so far but he will need a big performance to lead the Bears to victory tonight.
Tonight I expect the home team to come out ready despite the short week. Look for Aaron Rodgers to pass for over 350 yards with three touchdown passes. Marty Bennett will have a big night at the tight end position against his former team. Bennett will catch two touchdown passes tonight. The Packers rushing game will combine for 90 yards, just enough to keep Chicago’s defense honest.
The Bears will be in the game all night, but their youth will show late. Mike Glennon will toss two touchdown passes and one interception. Tarik Cohen will have a big night with over 150 total yards from scrimmage tonight. This should be a great NFC North matchup but I like the home team tonight!
