True To Atlanta: Atlanta Hawks vs. Houston Rockets (2-2-17) (Preview)

February 2, 2017 0

The Atlanta Hawks stand at (28-21) after losing last night to the Miami Heat (116-93). Tonight the Hawks are in Houston to face James Harden and the (36-16) Houston Rockets.

The Atlanta Hawks are (6-5) in their last 11 games and I haven’t been able to pin point yet why the Hawks have been so inconsistent this season. Tonight’s matchup against the Rockets will mark the first time Dwight Howard has played in Houston since leaving the team in Free Agency over the Summer. The Hawks are playing their second game of a back to back tonight and need a big win against one of the best teams in the NBA.

Rockets guard James Harden is having a MVP season this year and he looks to continue that tonight. The Rockets defeated the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday night. Tonight’s game tips off at 8pm and will be on TNT. The Atlanta Hawks return home to Philips Arena on Saturday night (Feb. 4th) to face the Orlando Magic.
